About Echo's Paw Spa

Echo's Paw Spa, LLC is a small home-based pet grooming salon located in Smyrna, TN, near the Almaville Exit off I24. The salon is located at a private residence, so my full address is not disclosed publicly, only after scheduling your first appointment. Dogs over 80lbs are only allowed on a case-by-case basis.
I try to keep my salon low capacity for a low stress environment so please pick up in a timely matter. All services are by appointment only.

I offer all-inclusive grooming, so every pet is pampered with personalized care to their unique needs. No need to add on services like nail grinding or a premium shampoo; that is all included in the price. Every bath uses purified soft water to avoid the harmful effects chorine and hard water have on your dog's skin and coat. I only use premium products because healthy skin and coat is vital not only to a beautiful haircut but your dog's overall health.

I strive to give every pup a quality spa session in a safe comfortable environment. I want your pet to enjoy their time with me as much as possible, leaving with a haircut you love!

About the Groomer

Hi, I'm Brittney Gamble! I am the Groomer and Owner of Echo's Paw Spa. I work one on one with your pup each step of the way.

I have been a Professional Pet Stylist for 12 years, and animals have always been my passion. From a young age I watched my grandmother groom dogs, and always loved seeing her give each dog a new look.

I take the health of your pet very seriously and have taken several educational courses on grooming and pet safety. And continue to take classes yearly to stay up to date.
I am Pet CPR/ First Aid certified

Interested in something creative?
I love adding color to a groom whether it's just ears and tail or turning your dog into a panda. All color is pet safe dye.
I also love creative hair cut requests. Do you want to try something new like an Asian fusion cut, or a continental cut, maybe add some flare with longer legs? Just mention when booking what style your looking for.

Drop-off Procedure
Please park in my driveway during drop-off. I live in a neighborhood with other people/dogs around, therefore, for your pet's safety, they must be on a leash, carried, or brought in a crate when you arrive. If for any reason you need to drop off earlier than your appointment time, please arrange this with me before your appointment. If I am not readily available to greet you, please text me upon arrival.
Weight Restrictions
No matter how much I love your gentle giants, I only groom pets over 80 lbs on a case-by-case basis. Existing clients with pets who may gain weight over time and exceed 80 lbs. will be reevaluated whether services are able to continue.
Late Arrival Policy
I will text you if you are more than 10 minutes late for your appointment to see if everything is okay and get an estimated time when you will be arriving. If you are more than 20 minutes late to your appointment, we may have to reschedule your appointment, and you may have to pay a No show/ cancellation fee. Please see the cancellation policy below for more details.
Pick-Up Procedure
I will give you 15 minutes notice prior to your pet's completion of service, and they should be picked up within 45 minutes after their groom is completed as I try to keep the number of dogs in my salon low so each dog can have a low stress experience. If you are not able to pick up your pet 45 minutes after their groom, please let me know during booking so I'm aware and arrangements can be made. Furthermore, if you arrive before I have texted you that your dog is ready, please stay in your car and wait for my text.
Cancellation Policy
My system will send you an automatic text reminder 48 hours prior to your appointment. Cancelling within 24 hours of your appointment will result in 50% of the quoted amount being owed prior to scheduling your next appointment to serve as a cancellation fee. If you cancel or reschedule several appointments over the course of a few months you will be required to pay a 100% nonrefundable deposit for future appointments or refused future service. Excluding emergencies like bad weather and illness of course. If your pet is vomiting, coughing, sneezing, or has had diarrhea within the past 24 hours, you must reschedule.
Payment Methods
Payment is due at time of service. I can accept Venmo, card, cash or check!
Flea Policy
If I spot fleas upon arrival, you will be asked to leave and return once your pet has been treated. If I find fleas after you have left, your pet will be given a flea bath, and the cost will be added to your total ($15-$30). I take the safety and the health of my personal pets and my client's pets' very seriously! I thoroughly disinfect my workstation between clients to ensure contamination does not occur.
Unsatisfactory Groom Procedure
I want to make sure you are satisfied with your pet and are happy with how they turned out after their spa day! If you are not 100% satisfied with my grooming service, please contact me within 24 hours of the groom, and I will do my best and be happy to resolve the issue!
Severely Matted Pets Release
The safety and comfort of your pet is always my top priority! A pet’s coat that has not been attended to for a long period of time and developed matting may become extremely sensitive and incur clipper marks, abrasions, rashes, nicks, itchiness, hematomas (especially on matted ears), or redness. I will not brush through severe matting as it can be painful and could cause further injuries, so I will always suggest a shave down so their hair can regrow, and we can start over and get your pet on a regular grooming schedule to keep up on their growing coat and to avoid matting. You as the owner agree to in no way hold Echo's Paw Spa, LLC responsible for any problems resulting from the grooming of your matted pet. Additional charges on top of regular grooming fees will apply to pets that are severely matted.
Behavioral Issues Release
Any pet showing an unruly amount of aggression may be refused service. Safety is priority (your pets included). It is your responsibility to disclose if your pet has a known history of biting or aggression. If I accept to groom any animals with behavioral issues, charges will be set in accordance with their behavior if I feel necessary. In the grooming process, every effort is made to make your pet as comfortable as possible. If your pet is behaving badly and is uncooperative, the groom will not continue, and payment for services completed will be due upon pick-up.
Photo/Video Release
I want to show off your adorable pup after a day of being pampered! By using my service, you hereby release any photos and/or videos I may take of your pet for advertisement on social media.
Health/Veterinary Care Release
Please let me know if your pet has any allergies to food, shampoos, colognes, or any health issues. You understand and agree that Echo's Paw Spa, LLC does not provide veterinary services. You understand that grooming can be stressful for your pet. You understand that Echo's Paw Spa, LLC is not responsible for any loss, damage, injury, or death of or to your pet from conditions not disclosed to me that could be exacerbated by any grooming services.
Minor Accidents Release
Working with animals is unpredictable, and if a situation should arise where your pet has a minor accident or injury you hereby authorize Echo's Paw Spa, LLC to provide basic first aid to relieve the pain or stop any bleeding using a septic powder or other natural remedies. Please know that I would never purposefully put your pet in harm's way and will do everything possible to provide a safe grooming session. Minor accidents can occur during nail trimming, the use of shears, bathing, and shaving including shaving a severely matted coat. Basic first aid will always be applied upon these minor accidents or injuries and once contained, you will be notified immediately. You hereby release Echo's Paw Spa, LLC from any unrelated injuries that occur outside of your pet's service.
Emergency Medical Treatment Authorization Release
If an emergency should arise, I will notify you right away and take your pet to the nearest veterinarian clinic (Premier VetCare at 13197 Old Nashville Hwy Suite B, Smyrna, TN 37167) if they cannot wait for you. In the event that Echo's Paw Spa, LLC incurs any costs, fees, or expenses arising from, or relating to, your pet’s need for veterinary care during your pet’s grooming appointment, being that they are unrelated to incidents during your pet’s service, you will promptly reimburse Echo's Paw Spa, LLC for the same upon request.
Senior Pets (age 10+ years) Release
My priority when working with senior pets is to make their spa day as pleasant as possible! My policy with seniors is grooming for comfort, not to look 100% perfect. You understand that grooming can cause stress that can exacerbate or expose new problems or even lead to a serious medical event or death in senior pets. You release Echo's Paw Spa, LLC from liability should any problem/medical issue occur that is unrelated to minor accidents that may occur during your pet’s service. If it becomes necessary, I will stop the groom.
